Andros is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea and the nearest to Athens (the capital of Greece). Andros is only two hours from Rafina, a port in eastern Attica, which in turn is only 30 minutes away from the Athens international airport. Andros can satisfy any preference. There are beaches for all tastes: sandy or rocky, mainstream with beach bars and amenities, remote where one can enjoy the Aegean Sea in solitude. The landscape also varies: Cycladic dry areas against forested inland regions with olive groves, canyons and small rivers, ideal for trekking. Dwellings offer variety too. Cosmopolitan touristic villages like Batsi with lively night life, picturesque Chora (the capital of the island) with renowned museums, traditional mountain villages in between.
The settlement Kypri is located in the western part of the island of Andros, near the port of Gavrio (3 km) and the cosmopolitan village Batsi (4.5 km).
The beach at Kypri is sandy with crystal clear water. It is ideal for water sports like windsurfing, SUP, canoeing and water-ski. The well-known beach of Xrysi Ammos is just 300 meters away, with very thin and smooth sand, sun umbrellas, beach bar and beach volley. In the vicinity, there is also the beach of Saint Peter, with the various seaside restaurants.
